Hey guys!

There are so many products from mac i have wanted over the years, but these are the ones i wish i have! Unfortunately my bank balance will not allow me to buy them! Being a student can suck sometimes, but at least i have you guys to vent to! A lot off youtuber's rant and rave about these products and over time i have gained the urge to try these products!Here's a basic run down..

Mineralized skin finish in soft and gentle;

This is the palest out of the skin finishes. It works as a subtle highlight for pale skin and leaves a lovely glowing complexion. It has a pinkie tone to perk up your cheeks and make them look higher. It will leave your skin looking radiant - but not like a disco ball!

Studio fix fluid in NC15;

This is a matte finish foundation with medium and buildable coverage. I'm very much a flawless finish lover! and i have a lot of freckles on my skin, covering them is hard! So I'm in need off a full coverage foundation without a shiny residue. I think this might be a saviour for me!

Pro long wear concealer in NC15

This like the fix fluid foundation is a medium to full coverage, matte concealer. It is supposed to be long wearing lasting up to 15 hours, which i would like to test out! Its to help discolouration such as under eye circles, redness etc. I also really like the packaging off this, it has a nice pump dispenser.

Lipsticks

Chatterbox - Amplified creme

Saint Germain - Amplified creme

Impassioned - Amplified creme

Amplified Creme lipsticks are designed to be moisturising, long lasting and full coverage lipsticks. Unlike the amplified lipsticks they have a creamier consistency making them a lot easier to apply and softer to the lips. Their staying power means it could create a flattering stain on your lips. They may still have a light sheen but they will not be glossy.

Candy yum yum - Matte

Party Parrot - Matte

Obviously the finish off these lipsticks would be matte, meaning there is no shine to your lips making it a more subtle pop off colour. These lipsticks tend to be very drying to the lips so i always suggest applying a lip balm or moisturiser to keep it lasting throughout the day. I like to dab the lipstick into the centre off my lips and blend with my finger, it helps make the lipstick smooth and means your not caking on product, which can happen with matte lipsticks.

Viva glam Nicki - satin

Rebel - satin

As you can imagine a satin finish would have a gloss like look to it. These are for the people who do not like high gloss or matte look, its a nice in between. These are usually easy to apply with nice colour pay off. I believe they are a sheerer lipstick, but buildable to create your desired look.

Goes and Goes - pro long wear lip creme

This is related to the pro long wear line, which are supposed to last up to 15 hours. I imagine they would be similar to the amplified creme formula.

Fix +

This is designed to finish off your whole look. It sets your make-up and blends all powders together, making them sink into the skin. Preventing the 'cake face' affect ,and leaving a flawless finish.

Creme blend blush in So sweet, So easy

cream blushes are light and soft, used with a stippling brush can create a nice flush off colour to the cheeks and can be built to your personal preference. I want this certain colour because its natural, but more of a redish pink shade, it would really bring life to a neutral look and brighten your completion subtly.

Hey there beauties!

I've been waiting a long time to do a review on this mascara, over a month actually! But i wanted to make sure I'd had enough time to experience the product to give a fair judgement and give all the good and bad points possible.

First Look:

The packaging its very sleek, and unlike normal mascaras is more of a rectangular tube, this makes it easier to put on flat surfaces and prevents it from rolling everywhere! The colour of the packaging is a purpley silver, baring the title 'they're real' in orange and black. It is a snazzy piece, and looks as expensive as the price which is £18.50. Although, as you can see in the photo, the colour does wear from friction on the corners and also has accumulated some scratches, but that's from being in my make-up bag for so long! It is very sturdy and feels almost like metal.

Peaking inside:

The consistency of the product is very wet and thick but light. It is definitely a black mascara, no fading of colour once applied at all, it is very opaque. Also its very good at latching onto your lashes, meaning you do not miss any one, and because of the consistency, it does not dry quickly, meaning you have plenty of time to create your desired look, and make sure your lashes are separated nicely without snagging any off your lashes.This also means that the product should not dry up as quickly, meaning you should have this mascara in your make-up collection for a long time without flaking and feeling like you've lost out on your penny's! I've tested this out and it really does last all day, your eyelashes may droop a little throughout the day if not curled before application, but other than that it is a winner in my eyes! (see what i did there)

The Wand:

It is made out of plastic apposed to bristles and is bendy allowing it to adjust to the angle you push it. It has many large and small plastic bristles helping to catch any lashes which may have darted out of your vision, these also help separate your lashes nice and evenly, minimising clumps. The tip of the wand, as you can see in the picture, also has these plastic bristles and they are excellent at creating that finishing touch, coating and separating your lashes in hard to place areas. Such as the inner corners of your eyes and those stubborn lashes at the end off your eye that always clump together - in my case anyway. It isn't a particularly chunky wand either which is nice, you can easily glide through your lashes without touching your upper lid and smudging your eyeshadow or eyebrows - believe me its possible!

The Rundown:

So this is what the mascara looks like on my eyelashes, after being curled. Naturally my eyelashes are quite long, but this mascara gives it them the 'pop' they needed. I wiggle the wand from the base off my lashes to the top, i press quite firmly at the base and blink quite hard to get right into every eyelash to create maximum volume. Using the tip off the wand held vertically i push up to separate the lashes and make them defined. I also close my eyes and run the wand on the tips of them to increase the length. For my bottom lashes i roll the wand in between two fingers and put it underneath them to create lift and make sure i don't touch the skin underneath them. This is also where the tip comes in handy as you can reach the inner corners off your lower lid without your eyes panicking and blinking. I usually do not put this mascara on my bottom lashes because i find its to heavy for them, and throughout the day it smudges onto my skin, this could be because of my concealer as well, as it is a wet consistency too.

The Good :)

You can see the benefits off this product through the photos and points Ive made, but here's overall list of the pros's.

Only needs to be applied in one or two coats to achieve full potential in the product.
Wet consistency means it lasts longer
Brush is perfect for hard to reach area's and also separates the lashes

The Bad :(

Yes, although this is a great mascara, it is not perfect.

Can make bottom lashes droopy and smudge onto your skin underneath
At the end off the day it can be quite hard to remove
Expensive

My Opinions

Apart from the smudging under the eyes, overall i love this mascara, and is probably the best I've ever owned. Although it is one of the more expensive mascaras around, it lives up to its expectations and represents the price tag and i would definitely repurchase. There is nothing i would change about the mascara, it makes my lashes big and fluffy which completely finishes off my look. Definitely a 'must have' in a girls make-up bag.

Argan oil, Conditioner, Shampoo, Hair mask.

Hello guys!

We all put our hair through terror throughout the week. Straightening, curling, blow drying, crimping, we bleach it, colour it all the bad stuff that puts our hair through hell and back just to look good!

My hair was feeling dry and battered after all this time so it needed some TLC to give it back some life!

For Christmas i had this hair set (in above picture) from Vitamin hair cosmetics. It consists of a shampoo and conditioner, hair mask, a 100ml bottle off argan oil and also a 30ml bottle (not in the photo).

They are all argan based products, which as more or less everyone knows argan oil is a great for your hair and skin. I've been using them since i got them, and i have seen an amazing change in my hair condition

A bit about my hair:

Naturally, my hair is very thick with tight ringlets and excess amounts off frizz! I have dyed my hair black, blonde, red and other colours, so you can imagine, my hair has seen better days! Because i have curly hair, my natural oils do not reach my ends and they become very dry, very quickly. Sometimes by the end off the day after washing they are so dry, they are straw like! (this is also down to the amount of heat i put onto my hair though!). Because off my hair type i cannot help but style my hair, either wise i look like i've been dragged though a hedge backwards, i can't tame it without making it sleek! So i am hoping these products help nourish my hair and weigh it down so the frizz doesnt take over!

The Products:

The Shampoo is very creamy, but does not lather as much as normal shampoo's. It has to be left in for two minutes once applied, i leave it in for about five for good measure. It completely strips any oily-ness or dirty feeling from your hair, which is what you want right?!

The Conditioner is a thick creamy consistancy, feels very moisturising and soft to the touch. When applied instantly detangles and makes your hair feel nourished. Again leave it on for about five minutes and rise out.

The Vitamin Hair Mask is again thick and creamy almost like a paste, like sudacream, it is so nice to put on. Once applied it instantly makes the fair soft, and detangled. After leaving it on for 5-10 minutes (i leave it on for as long as possible, about an hour!) and rised out, your hair feels soft and strong! It honestly feels just like silk!

The Argan Oil This is a rich oil, i place a two pence piece size amount into my palm, rub it into my hands and spread it evenly onto the ends off my hair before and after blow drying, for the finishing touch.

My opinions

I completely recommend this brand for hair care, especially for curly, frizzy hair. It has improved my ends, they are no longer splitting and breaking off, and feel like hair not straw! Because my ends are being taken care off and now breaking, my hair has grown so much! my favourite product which i feel like has made the most impact to my hair is definitely the vitamin hair mask, after the first time i used it i noticed and incredible difference in the quality off my hair, and i was so impressed with it. I'm in love with these products and i'll keep you updated on how i feel once i've emptied the set!

Welcoming 2013!

So if your superstitious or not, i'm sure your all looking forward to 2013 just as much as i am. Its out with the old and in with the new this year!

Lets talk resolutions!

Even if you dont believe in making them, its great to make yourself realistic goals to make your life more exciting and challenging!

my resolutions are;

Loose weight
Have a healthier lifestyle
Go out more
Concentrate on college.

Yes, yes, the first two, most people make! But ive realised now, i need to look better to achieve the third resolution haha!

I just want to make me feel better about myself, and ive always stuggled with my physical image.

Ive already started by using this bad boy!

Now.. i cannot cook to save my life. It was always a wrap from the co-op or a mcdonalds, no exageration. But i picked up this cook book and made a chicken korma from SCRATCH. I actually impressed myself and it made me feel so much better! It has made me want to cook more, meaning i am in more control over what i'm eating and what goes into my tum!

Looks quite snazzy ehh?

I'm looking forward to improving my cooking skills, and making more food. I dont know why i thought it was so challenging! If i can do it, any one can!

Now to loose weight i know i'll have to do more than just make myself lovely food all the time!

Exercise has to take place before this stubburn stomach will be gone!

Do i have the will power?! I need to have the will power!

Ive started doing Zumba on the Wii, which is as fun as it is embarrassing! which is very ha!

I would rather shake my ''booty'' in the comfort of my own home!

Its a working progress but i shall get the hang of it!

Going out and being more social! I have kept myself cooped up and locked away, and i dont really know why, i am quite a lazy, laid back person, but i need to start getting up earlier and putting more effort into things!

This also comes into my college work! i need to spend less time thinking about the now, and more about my future, that used to be my saying 'Live for now'. But now i am working for my future, i cannot just sit back and watch it walk on by!

I'm hoping i can achieve all my little goals, and make myself a better person, reflecting back on 2012 has made me realise how much i have grown as a person and i hope i continue to grow and learn new things about myself. I hope you all had an amazing 2012 & it continues to make an amazing 2013!
